The 12th Arab Energy Conference, which was held in Doha, State of Qatar, examined Arab and global energy resources, downstream industries, energy demand management in Arab countries, as well as technological developments and their implications for the energy sector.
Our CEO, Tommy Baltzis, was invited to attend on behalf of WhiteHaven and WattByWatt by Dr. Anas Alhajji, Managing Partner, Energy Outlook Advisers, with whom the firm looks forward to collaborating. The conference’s focus on creating institutional frameworks for Arab cooperation in energy, linking energy policies to development, and studying the future needs and capabilities in the Arab world was “inspiring”, observed Tommy. “It’s clear that the path ahead for the Arab energy sector is both challenging and filled with opportunities” he continues. Covering a range of critical topics, from international energy market trends to the challenges of energy security and sustainable development, the conference offered a unique look into the interplay between energy, environment, and technological advancements in the context of Arab countries.
