Laval, Québec – Recent development activities for manufacturing next-generation perovskite-based solar panels have led to two US patent applications filed by the WattByWatt team.
The first innovation concerns an electromechanical solution for an equipment necessary for the manufacture of photovoltaic cells based on perovskite. The second innovation is a new method of producing inks for various energy and flexible electronics applications.
As specified by the CEO, Dr Riad Nechache, “Intellectual property occupies an important place in the company’s growth strategy and the filing of these first two patent applications is the demonstration that we encourage all employees to propose innovative solutions to the challenges linked to the development of a new technology.”
Based in Laval, WattByWatt is a company that designs, develops and manufactures perovskite-based photovoltaic cells with a team of scientists, engineers and investors committed to providing practical and innovative solutions for renewable energy.
