Laval, Québec – WattByWatt Inc. announce that it has entered into a commercial agreement with Nü-NRG group to sell and to distribute the SmartFlower in Québec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.
“This commercial agreement will bring the company into the solar energy market, and it is also a potential cooperation with SmartFlower to work on implementing our perovskite based photovoltaic technology in the next generation of the SmartFlower or any creative designs to better harvest the sun energy” said Riad Nechache, CEO of WattByWatt. “The SmartFlower is impressive. It is beautiful, efficient, and reliable. The tilting of the solar petals to follow the sun during the day provides 40% more energy than the fixed panels with the same surface, installed on roofs for example.” added Pierre Des Lierres, Director of operations and marketing of WattByWatt.
When asked why partnering with WattByWatt for this commercial agreement, Larry Stock, CEO of Nü-NRG group answered: “Why WattByWatt? Because they are passionate, they are innovative, and their perovskite product to replace silicon in solar panels could very well revolutionize the industry. Our combined enthusiasm for all things solar makes for a promising partnership, and I very much look forward to teaming up with WattByWatt to bring SmartFlower and other exciting innovations to the Canadian solar energy marketplace.”
