Laval, Québec – The government of Canada has selected WhiteHaven Ventures as a designated organization in their Start-up Visa Program, which provides assistance to immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and potential to build businesses in Canada. Designated organizations are business groups that are approved by the federal government to invest in or support possible start-ups through the Start-up Visa Program.

As such, WhiteHaven Ventures can receive and evaluate business proposals from entrepreneurs who are innovative, who can create jobs in Canada and can compete on a global scale.

“We are proud to have been selected as one of the venture capital organizations to support the Start-up Visa Program. Historically, immigrant entrepreneurs have played an important role in Canada’s economic development. That is why we are delighted to be able to contribute to the development of innovative projects that also enable immigration and job creation in Canada” said Tommy Baltzis, CEO of WhiteHaven.
